Follow Friday #2

I have always loved Friday’s but since joining the Twitter family about 4 months ago I have another reason to LOVE Friday! David and his wife Elaine are great supporters of shelter dogs. They are a wonderful couple with huge hearts!

Follow Friday #1

On Twitter there is an act of kindness that is all about recommending your favorite tweeps to one another with the suggestion to follow them. The post would include either #FF or #FollowFriday so that people can follow the conversation. This is a fun thing that people on Twitter do on Fridays to help each other build their following.

A few weeks back Chris Brogan made a comment about #FF getting just a bit out of hand because most people were listing as many people as they could fit. And, how that wasn’t the point of Follow Friday. He had the outstanding idea to share one friend suggestion at a time with some thoughtful comments on why you should follow that person and to put a link to their blog to help them with their blog traffic. I shared that post with a friend, Todd Temaat who took the idea a step further and made a blog post to spotlight his favorite Twitter friends and their blogs.
