Welcome To November – Good Intentions vs Taking Action

Do you ever have really good intentions to do something, but it doesn’t happen? I am sure that happens to all of us at one time or another. The important thing to look at is what we do with that small defeat. Do we use it as an excuse to step back and let ourselves off the hook, or do we use it to learn and become more determined to follow through in the future? It is your choice and it can say a lot about where you are going.

More times than not, I would say I use those small defeats as a wake up call and  to step up my game.  Lately, I must admit, that has not been the case. I have had several good intentions fall through the cracks, and rather than stop what I am doing and get a handle on the situation, I have let it slip out of control. I am not excited to share this out loud, and pretty embarrassed due to the fact that I am the girl who takes action and makes things happen. I am an expert in productivity and I have not been the very best I can be when it comes to living up to my full potential.

Things can spiral out of control much easier than we may like to believe. No matter what has fallen through the cracks, there is always time and space to make it right. Last month, I did not post to my blog at all! I went from posting 2-3 times every week, to taking an unplanned and self imposed hiatus! I want to make it right and I will choose to plug away at sharing some great information, ideas and content with you this month. It won’t happen again. I now have a plan in place to hold me accountable and keep me moving forward.

Good intentions don’t always lead to good things, but taking action does! If you have let some important things fall through the cracks, take this month to get back on track and in control of what you want to be doing. Get clear, make a plan in enough detail that you can follow step by step, and then focus on that plan each and every day. When you get stuck or feel discouraged, reach out to your friends, family or online community and get back in the game as soon as possible.

September, 2011 Welcome To My Blog!!

Hooray for September! It is a new month, again, (so soon?) a new month overflowing with new ideas, new opportunities and a clean slate to create or accomplish ANYTHING that you can imagine. If you can dream it, you can take action to make it happen!

This month is feeling like it’s all about creativity. What can you do to add a new vibe to your work. How can you explore the possibilities and take your business to the next level. It can be very exciting when you think about being in the drivers seat and driving your business in any direction that you wish!

Hey there!! Welcome to my action habits blog. I am really excited to share with you the ideas that I run across, read about or come up with all by myself. I am thrilled you are here!! I have been an enrepreneur for as long as I can remember. I love being in charge of my own success! Success is a choice, and that means I have no one to point a finger at but myself when I don’t hit my targets.  I have become more productive, I am a hard worker and I am determined to demonstrate more of what I am capable of! It may not always be easy.. but easy is not what I signed up for, I signed up to be an example of what is possible!  The biggest and boldest version of myself that is possible!

I have a wonderful and supportive (‘big fat Greek’ ) family. My son turned 21 this year (OMG!) I love to travel and explore new adventures and cultures. My husband and I have lived in more than 13 countries in the past 3 years. We are creating our lifestyle as we go and just as we want it! (the inspiration came from the book by Tim Ferriss “The 4 Hour Workweek”)

March Is A Great Time To Be Unstoppable! Welcome!!

This is a photo of my sweet and amazing husband. This is the man behind my success. He is my best friend and I would not be half the person I am without him! I am fairly new online and really having fun with learning all about technology and having an online presence, which is a new passion of mine. I have been a business coach and consultant for over 7 years and I am currently reinventing myself so I can be more of my fullest potential!!

I have been traveling the world for the last few years with my husband and best friend and just completely loving my life!! This picture of me was taken in Greece while we lived there last year for a few months. I learned how much I value freedom and flexibility. I also learned there is a price for that and we pay with the currency of discipline and responsibility. Everyday we have the opportunity to earn and deserve our lifestyle by the action we take in continuing to move our businesses forward, regardless of where we are!
